Psychiatry Myths & Mental HealthCancel Culture Has No Forgiveness
Look at how the digital world has replaced religious structures without offering a single ounce of redemption.
The internet has an unyielding code of righteousness. If you post the wrong thing, hold an unapproved opinion, or make a mistake, you're cast out and cancelled. It’s an endless Day of Atonement with no sacrifice that is sufficient, and an insatiable purity culture with zero mechanism for forgiveness.
Christ offers the exact opposite paradigm. In John 14:6, He doesn't tell you to "go discover your truth." He says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Objective truth exists completely outside of your fluctuating emotional states. Modern culture calls that restrictive, but psychologically, it is the ultimate relief. It means the weight of the universe doesn't rest on your shoulders. Your identity isn't defined by how perfectly you perform on screen or articulate your feelings—it's anchored in the finished work of a sovereign God who loved you while you were still an absolute mess.
