Gen Alpha isn't just speaking slang—their brains are being rewired by hyper-optimized algorithms designed in Silicon Valley. 🧠👇

Psychologist Jean Piaget showed that children between ages 2 and 7 (the pre-operational stage) need physical play, object manipulation, and face-to-face interaction to build crucial executive functions. Replacing that with high-saturation, fast-cut screen time floods developing brains with evolutionary-unprecedented dopamine levels. To protect itself, the brain down-regulates dopamine receptors, leaving kids in a state of chronic irritability and unable to focus on low-dopamine tasks like reading or listening to a teacher.

Taking an iPad away from a screaming child isn't just dealing with a behavioral phase—it's acute neurobiological withdrawal. Swiping a capacitive touch screen doesn't make a toddler a genius; it makes them a user.

💬 How have you seen screen dependency impact kids in your life? Drop your experience in the comments—I read and reply to every single one.
