Stop Being a Drug Dealer for the Narcissist
Everyone knows the story of Narcissus, the boy who fell in love with his own reflection. But nobody talks about Echo. 🥀
Echo was the nymph cursed to only repeat the words of others. She had no voice of her own. In this video, I explain why many partners of narcissists are actually "Echoists." You have been supporting their dreams and agreeing with their reality for so long that you have forgotten who you are.
"What do you want for dinner?" "I don't know, what do you want?"
Here is the hard truth: If you're an Echo, you aren't just a victim. You're a supply source. You're a drug dealer feeding the narcissist the validation they need to stay sick.
The most loving thing you can do is find your own voice.
